Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2, or CFAP 2, provided producers with financial assistance to absorb some of the increased marketing costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
USDA implemented updates to the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program for producers of agricultural commodities marketed in 2020 who faced market disruptions due to COVID-19. This was part of a larger initiative to improve USDA pandemic assistance to producers. USDA’s Farm Service Agency began accepting new and modified CFAP 2 applications on April 5, 2021.
