Conservation Work Continues Amid Pandemic

During these unprecedented times, NRCS continues to work with agricultural producers to plan and implement conservation practices on their land. Most of the district conservationists are working from home but remain in contact with producers by leveraging technology to facilitate their work.

A good example is NRCS District Conservationist Adam Eades and Arkansas farmer Joey Massey. Usually they meet in person to review maps and share documents to scope out a strategy for dealing with conservation challenges. But because of USDA’s strong continuity of operations plan, they are able to seamlessly continue their work.
