RMA Roadshow Series

Agricultural producers – especially organic, urban, specialty crop and direct market producers – are invited to join the USDA Risk Management Agency for a series of virtual and in-person roadshow workshops highlighting the latest updates and improvements to the Whole-Farm Revenue Protection and Micro Farm insurance options. Both programs serve as safety nets for all commodities on a farm under one policy and are available in all counties nationwide.

The events will include RMA Administrator Marcia Bunger and other RMA experts. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers in real time.

Learn more about the RMA Roadshow by visiting the RMA Roadshow outreach page.

About Whole-Farm

Whole-Farm Revenue Protection (WFRP) is designed to meet the needs of highly diverse farms that are growing a wide range of commodities, and for farms selling commodities to wholesale markets. It provides coverage against the loss of revenue that you expect to earn or will obtain from commodities you produce or purchase for resale during the insurance period under one insurance policy. Any farm with up to $8.5 million in insured revenue, including farms with specialty or organic commodities (both crops and livestock), or those marketing to local, regional, farm-identity preserved, specialty, or direct markets, is eligible.

About Micro Farm

The Micro Farm program is tailored for any farm with up to $350,000 in approved revenue, including farms with specialty or organic commodities (both crops and livestock), or those marketing to local, regional, farm-identity preserved, specialty, or direct markets. Micro Farm provides protection against the loss of insured revenue due to unavoidable natural causes which occur during the insurance period. It will also provide carryover loss coverage if you are insured the following year.
