Disaster Assistance Tool Status Card
The disaster assistance tool on the farmers.gov website connects agricultural producers with local USDA offices and disaster assistance programs that align with disaster type, location, dates and damage. The farmers.gov website walks producers through several questions, generates program options based on the answers and initiates the first steps for disaster assistance – if the producer chooses to proceed. In the farmers.gov transactional end (logged in), Farm Service Agency employees can manage the customer applications for the 2017 Wildfires and Hurricanes Indemnity Program.
