USDA Recognizes Farmers, Ranchers and Foresters on National Agriculture Day

Happy National Ag Day 2018 to the farmers, ranchers and foresters who grow the nation’s food, fiber and fuel!  This year’s Ag Day theme, Agriculture: Food for Life, spotlights the hard work American agricultural producers have done to manage risk, conserve natural resources and invest in their operations.  

Secretary Perdue Welcomes Customers to Website

On Feb. 1, 2018, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue unveiled, a new interactive website for producers maintained by the USDA. is now live but will have multiple features added over the coming months to allow agricultural producers to make appointments with USDA offices, file forms and apply for USDA programs.

The website gathers together the three agencies that comprise USDA’s Farm Production and Conservation mission area: the Farm Service Agency, the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Risk Management Agency.

During Agriculture Week 2017, the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service kicked off an interactive story series - #Fridaysonthefarm - that highlights producers and landowners on local farms, ranches, forests and private working lands who are doing right and feeding everyone. Now each Friday, view the popular #Fridaysonthefarm stories here on as the series brings NRCS, Farm Service Agency and Risk Management Agency together as oneUSDA.
